Panama City Beach is not the PCB of old. A few years ago the city council decided to make a crack down on it being a Spring Break Mecca for college kids. There has been an emphasis on it being a family fun beach and it has caught on it a big way. The stunningly beautiful waters and family atmosphere has recently led to Panama City Beach being voted the 11th best beach in the USA by Trip Advisor users. Pier Park (only 1/2 mile) from Tidewater 1317 is a premier shopping district with 100s of stores and restaurants. There is plenty to do at PCB!
